Honda increases car prices in Pakistan 2018

Few days back we had a post about the recent increase in price of cars. The prices were increased by Suzuki and Toyota in Pakistan. The new prices were effective from the start of the year 2018. One of the leading car manufacturers of Pakistan, Honda was also expected to increase the prices as it was studying the market. The reason behind the increase in car prices is the increase in the price of parts. As parts and raw materials for car manufacturing is imported so the car prices are also affected. The ruppee is losing its worth. All this is caused due to the devaluation of ruppee.

Generally, Suzuki increased its car prices by 10.000-20.000 while Toyota increased its prices by 50.000-60.000. Honda has surpassed both the companies and has increased the prices of its various vehicles upto 1,000,000. Honda is also expected to increase the prices of its bikes by PKR 1000.

The price of Honda City 1.3 and Honda Civic 1.8 has been increased by PKR 50,000 while the price of Honda City 1.5 has been increased by PKR 60,000. The price of Honda Accord 2.4 has been increases by 1,000,000. The old price was 11,250,000 after the increase the current price is 12,250,000.

Increase in car prices by leading manufacturers in Pakistan 2018

The leading automotive manufacturers in Pakistan have once again increased the car prices. The increase in price has been observed by Suzuki and Toyota for 2018. While Honda is also expected to present the increased price list in the upcoming days. Car sales in Pakistan has increased to a noticeable level. It is being said that 2017 might be the year having the highest record car sales. The final figures have not been disclosed yet. But the sales figure  for the 11 months of 2017 according to some sources were 221,209 units. The figures include light commercial vehicles and jeeps. The sales for the same period of 2016 were 187,495 units. The sales in 2017 have increased to 18% as compared to 2016. Well, that's a lot of cars sold.
