We are dealing with Search Engine Optimization so its obvious we have to do something to notify the search engines that our site is also present on the web. Sometimes your site is indexed by the google itself but we won't be on a chance. What we will do is we will submit our site to the search engines so that they could index our site and view it as search results.

Yahoo and Bing submit site

www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url 

Note : There is no need to submit your sites to Yahoo and Bing seperately. If you have submitted your site to Bing that is enough. As Bing and Yahoo are probably a unit now. If your site is visible on Bing than it will also be visible on Yahoo.

HOW TO OPTIMIZE YOUR SITE FOR SEARCH ENGINES

There are certain things that the search engines specifically Google takes into account before indexing your site and showing it to people. If you follow these rules it will also help you to get better ranking for your site. 

• Assign page titles to your pages.
• Add meta tags.                                       
• Avoid grammatical mistakes.
• Avoid plagiarism and copy paste.
• Your site should have a clear sitemap.
• Submit your sitemap to search engines.  
• Your site should have a clear and easy navigation so that your viewers could find what they are here for.

WHAT IS WHITE HAT SEO AND BLACK HAT SEO

WHAT IS ON PAGE SEO AND OFF PAGE SEO

On page SEO is one of the two main categories of SEO. What is On page SEO?
We can say that any text content or any such material that you put on your website and it appears on the search engine. And when you click on the result it takes you directly to the website.
This is the main idea of On page SEO.

The process of optimizing your web pages so that they may appear in search engines and get better ranking. It basically refers to the content of the web page. It may be the code or any type of content.

This is an example of On page SEO. You can see the marked link at the top of the page. This is On page SEO.We searched about QUORA on Google. The link that is marked is the direct link to Quora website. When you click this link you will be taken directly to the Quora website.
This is known as On Page SEO.

OFF PAGE SEO

Off Page SEO is referred to all the links that are indirectly referring to your website. You can say other websites that are linked or are directing to to your website is called Off page SEO. It could be your Youtube channel on Youtube that has links and is directing to your website. It could be your Twitter profile or Facebook page that has links that refer to your website.

EXAMPLE

Here in the above example you can see the purple highlighted results. These are examples of Off Page SEO. The first highlighted result is the page on Twitter that has links to Quora or is directing people towards Quora's website. 

And the other high lighted link is Wikipedia's page about Quora.
These are perfect examples of Off Page SEO.

Off page SEO is also very useful for ranking. When there will be more and more links on different sites that will be pointing towards your site the search engine will notice your site. And as a result your site will have better ranking.

HOW TO GET BETTER RANKING

Ranking is a very important factor in order to optimize your site. Google ranks your site while taking in account many important factors. We have mentioned all those factors before in this post. For example: avoiding grammatical mistakes and using KEYWORDS. 

Keywords is a very important factor in ranking and optimization. As the Search results are totally based on KEYWORDS. 

When you enter a search term of phrase into Google. Google matches your search terms with the web pages. The web pages with the most matching KEYWORDS are displayed.
The game is on the KEYWORDS. Now you know the importance of keywords. If you have more keywords in your posts related to a specific search term there are more chances of your webpage to appear.

You can get the keywords by typing your desired topic or search term into the search engine by yourself. Take a look onto the suggestions that the search engine provides. Now you know what most of the people type in here. Choose your headings and titles carefully.

So, here we will introduce you to keyword research tool. We will be working with adwords keyword planner. This is a tool provided by Google.
The keyword planner gives you every detail about the keywords.
Let's get started.

Log onto adwords.google.com

You will be asked to login to you Gmail account. As a Gmail account will be required to access Google's tools.

Sign in !

After logging in you will see this page in front of you, click on TOOLS. There you will see PLANNING. In planning click KEYWORD PLANNER.

 You see this webpage. This is the main dashboard of the google keyword planner tool. 

Click on the first option SEARCH FOR NEW KEYWORDS USING A PHRASE.

Write your desired search for which you want the keywords to appear. And click on Get ideas.

And this is the Final result with keywords related to your search term. 

Here you can see the keywords, the average monthly searches of the keyword, competition for a specific keyword and the bids against keywords.

Now what you have to do is utilize these keywords carefully within your posts so that whenever someone performs a search related to the topic of your niche you could get most of the keywords matched. And your webpage is displayed. But don't just randomly start including keywords in your post. As they may appear like an alphabet soup making senseless sentences. Google may ignore such sites too.
