What is Fashion? We can say that fashion is something that everybody has to deal with daily. People who don’t have any concern about fashion or they don’t care to what they are wearing, too choose clothes every morning which represents their personality.

 Fashion reflects the social, political, economic and cultural changes. If we go for a formal definition a fashion it would be like

“Fashion is a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, body or furniture.”

FASHION TRENDS

The only one thing that is permanent in the world is change. So, is in the fashion industry. The world is constantly being introduced to new fashion ideas from movies, books, magazines and television. Fashion which is adopted by the people that may be from any source is called a trend. These trends change from day to day. In the last few years the fashion industry has focused on profitability and quality. They are focusing on what the product represents rather than what the product is. The product itself is not under the spotlight it is the brand that speaks.

TREND SETTERS

Musicians, actors, politicians, designers and other social and cultural icons play an important role in promoting new Fashion and setting trends. Some brands have become trendsetters because of the brand conscious people, whatever they are showcasing becomes the new trend. Sometimes a trend may be followed worldwide.
